Roy was already inspired to play music since his early childhood and explored music in his artistic family. At the age of 8 he started to play West-African Djembe music with the guidance of Ponda O’bryan. From that time on his musical career started and he began to do his first performances with the company of his father, Visual Sound Art.

At the Up festival he will work from his heart with the teenagers and kids. Playing with bodypercussion and songs. Making rhythms with clapping, stamping and drumming on the entire body. And creating rhythmical melodies into songs together.

Roy will also be playing live music for different dance workshops as the colibri heart dance with Guy Barrington.   And you will find him jamming in the tea tent with Avi Adir and other musicians.
